Hi,

    I have suffered from what I've been told is IBS for over 10 years. It manifests as constipation so having been constipated for about 3 days, I did go today but have the feeling that something is still there that I can't get rid of. This has only been today and it is now night. I did check earlier as it's so uncomfortable, there is nothing there that should come out, but there feels like a mass next to the rectum on the other side of the skin. I am probably worrying and maybe slightly anatomically ignorant but is this a mass or a part of my body that I don't know about? It is a few inches up. I will wait to see if this improves in the next few days but I'm slightly worried. Sorry for too much info!
