I had a smear last June and the result came back as severe after 9 years of normal results. My consutant advised a hysterectomy as I ahve already had too much of my cervix taken from a procedure I had done years ago. He mentioned the word Cancer then he advised me to have a hysteretomy as I am 39 and already have a child.. I was hoping to have another child but now this will not happen. Has anyone had a hysterectomy becuase of severe dyskaryosis? x
