Hello, my partner (48) has told me that she's been bleeding for 7 weeks, has back pain, sore stomach etc. I immediately phoned the doctor who booked her for a pelvic ultrasound. The receptionist gladly told her that the scan came back ok. 

Now my partner is seeing a nurse about a depo shot she normally takes tomorrow for contraceptive reasons. My partner still doesn't feel right, and is worried as to why she's still been bleeding for 7 weeks plus. 

What would the next step be to try and find out what this cause could be? Are there any other tests she can ask for?
