Hi there, I'm Nate. I'm 22 years old and I'm very worried at the moment. I know I can't get a diagnoses from this at all, but I was wondering if anybody had an guidence for me.
Yesterday, I found a "lump" on the left side of my skull, I think it's called the temporal bone. It's just above my ear.
Its tender and hurts to touch, immovable as well.
It's making me feel dizzy and gives me a headache. I am going to go to my gp on Monday as they aren't open over the weekend, but for now I would like to know a few things.
As far as I can find, brain tumors can't be felt from outside as they're inside the skull, so I guess I can technically rules that out?
But there are other tumors that can happen around that area, but with it being sore and painful to touch, that doesn't fit the description of a tumor does it?
Sorry if it seems I'm spiraling, I have pretty bad health anxiety and really hate going to the doctor's/hospital.
Thank you in advance
