Lletz procedure

Hi everyone

 

I had the Lletz procedure today after my biopsy results came back with CIN 1,2 &3. I found the procedure extremely painful which I wasn't expecting even after the anathetic. I had really bad cramps throughout the whole thing. I'm now home and am still having really bad cramps and am doubled over in pain even after taking painkillers.

Is this normal?? I was told there would be period like pains but these are like really bad cramps that come and go every 5 minutes or so!

    I'm sorry that the procedure was rather painful and you've been having bad cramps since. I do hope they've subsided a bit since you made this post but if they haven't and you're worried then it may be worth getting in touch with your GP as they should be able to help and hopefully put your mind at ease.
