Armpit discomfort

Hi 

I am 49 and in the last week or so been differing with a lot of discomfort under my right armpit, there is no lump that I can feel it feels sore more like a numbness even like a shaving rash, but it's not that. What could it be ? I'm trying to get on with my gp but that's so easy at the moment.

    Thank you for posting. I am sorry that you are worried about some symptoms you have and are having problems with your GP. Unfortunately, we cannot help you get a diagnosis as only a doctor can diagnose you. If you are unhappy with the way you are being looked after by your current doctor, you may want to consider getting a second opinion you can find out more about this here

    Hi Jdonovan,

    I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. Unfortunately, only your GP can decide whether this needs further investigation or not. I know that it is difficult to get an appointment with GPs at the moment, but do perservere. Most will give you an initial consultation over the phone, but they can still see you at their own discretion.
