Lump on lower leg

Good afternoon everyone, i have a lump on my lower leg below my knee and to the side very slightly, its been there about 18 mths and ive just kept and eye on it, just laterly its grown and is now giving me a dull ache into my leg and the lump is a little tender not much tho.

I was seeing the nurse the other day and just asked her what she thought, she told me i needed to see the gp whcih i have he is now sending me for an emergency x-ray to rule anything nasty out! it has really worried me any advise?

I'm sorry to hear that you have a lump which has been causing some concern. It was sensible to arrange to see someone at your GP surgery and I'm glad to hear that they're trying to get to the bottom of what this lump could be.
It's natural to feel worried and anxious about things and I think that most of our members here will understand just how difficult this period of waiting for tests and results can be. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for some news.
