Hi all new hear was looking for some answers

Hi all I'm new hear I'm 36 years old male did smoke quit a few years ago with a vape yes I know stupid habbit and my biggest regreat in life I'm looking for anyone who has had or has throte cancer on back wall of throte to see if any symptoms match iv been suffering from pain now now for over 2 years but over this last month it's become ubarable as soon as I drink or ear and it hits a certain part at the back of throte I'm in agony then it hurts all day the pain is a stinging burning pain I can see a little small like lesion and that's what's hurting been to 4 ent doctors over this last 2 years last being on Thursday he looked down and said it was all normal showed him the sore patch he said looks like lemphtic tissue cam up nose all fine yet I get burning on my tounge and my mouth but this pain it like iv just sliced the inside of my throte and put viniger on the cut I don't think he seen the little lesson amongst the patch would an ent see if I had cancer or would I need another test I'm going out my mind Iv been thinking that the patch could of been turning into cancer over this time as pain would come and go but now all the time so I can't eat lost over a stone worried about my wife and kids seeing me in a state of panic I feel like im waiting for them to say oh yes we see something after it's been there ages all ready i feel for all the people on hear waiting for test results it's hell I payed privert to see this ent so I'm going to have to back again can't be just a cut that don't heal can they see squmacell carcinoma just by looking and my doc only put I was a occasional smoker on the letter to him witch worries me too sorry for such a long post I just want to know been like this 2 years and on the point of break down wake up with hot flushes head spinning and I'm not even out of bed sorry

    Unfortunately I'm not able to advise on your situation, but it sounds like you've visited the specialists a few times now so do try to take some reassurance from the fact they haven't been concerned. I appreciate this doesn't help with the certainty of knowing what the issue is, so if the pain continues and you don't know why, speak to your doctor to try to get some answers.

  • Hi Ben thanks for your reply I'm sure your right iv managed to see my ent first thing in morning so he can have another look to be 100% sure fingers crossed might get some answers this ent doctor is a really nice chap seems to go out hes way to help thanks joe
