Breast reconstruction with expanders

Hi I'd just like to say how amazing and strong all you ladies are. 
im Joleen 33 and 7 days ago had a double mastectomy with tissue expanders in place. 
I now have a process of them being filled then another operation to change them to silacon. 
I'm wondering if anyone has had this reconstruction and what was the process of having the expanders filled like?

    I hope that your recovery from your recent surgery is going smoothly. You've been through a big surgery so do be kind to yourself with expectations around recovery. 

    We've lots of ladies here on the forum who have had breast cancer although I'm unsure if any of them have had reconstruction with expanders. I've edited the title to your post so that hopefully if anyone does have experience they will see it and post a reply.

    i just saw your post and I'm looking for information about this type of procedure myself! Can I ask, did you have it on the NHS? Which part of the UK do you live in? I hope it all went well!
