Long story but worried

2 yrs ago referred on urgent pathway was told watery cyst dont worry

2 yrs later referred again same lump grown bigger 

Inbetween GP referral and breast clinic end up at the following, out of hrs care, A & E and referred to acute surgery side ward.

On antibiotics for abcess, breast very painful red inflammed and abcess developed was drained and biopsies taken of pus plus small lumps taken out of abcess hole?

Wound packed and dressed daily and then clinic 

Seen by same breast nurse as 2 yrs ago!

Tokd she would be looking after me.

Told again nothing to worry about.....but acute surgeon drew round lump next to abcess to remove? Thats the cyst she says nothing to worry about.knew nothing from acute surgeon, looked on pc for pus biopsy said ckear my own bacteria but nothing from lumps found on files?

Sent me to ultrasound over taped wound and photo slide taken she said for my file....need mammogram when able to have one pain wise

Wait in waiting room...then tokd seeing the consultant but then after long wait in pops nurse again and says right as said earlier,  ( which she had) carry on stronger antibiotics 1,000 mg 4 times a day, I will see you in two weeks

Two weeks, wound dressed and packed daily, healing ok but terrible deep ache in breast and sternum 3 days before clinic 

Arrive at clinic and all of sudden i am now under consultant who came in and out like a whirlwind ..literallyripped dressing off,.stop taking antibiotics,  need mammogram,  its booked for you ring to have it and see me in 4 weeks, nurse told by him to book me in for face to face with him.

I asked what about the lump, he said you have a breast lesion.....and was gone....

The nurse that day was lovely and dressed it and talked to me....on arrival in the room she had asked me if i k ew what was going on..i said no...so she said ok.

Im 57 post menopausal and going between not worried and worried sick.

I have oromorph in and take range of pain meds due to spinal osteoarthritis and dressing nurses told me take oramorph for dressing packing and nurse yesterday said take it when pain in breast bad...

I hesitate to take it but last two nights ive been wincing in pain in bed and needed a dose so i can sleep...i dont take it even for my back but needed it for my breast...

Dont know what to think...do i just sit and wait the 4 weeks..
