Hi, I had breast cancer 18 years ago. Initially had lumpectomy with chemo but on fourth round, discovered another lump on scar line so had mastectomy and radiotherapy.  Waited 4 years for reconstruction and have been attending regular follow ups etc since.  I 'know' my breasts well and like to think I would spit any abnormalities.  2 weeks ago I attended my 3 year screening and last week got a recall letter for Monday 12th. 

I am assuming it is a technical recall because of the implants but I have been really struggling since the letter arrived and that's unusual for me.  I can't get motivated to do anything and feel worried sick. I got no answer from screening unit when I called and GP couldn't see any info either. 

I think I am looking for reassurance from other ladies who have had implants that this is normal. It's the first recall I have had during routine screening since implants fitted.
