Hi
I'm after a little advice/reassurance. About a month ago I noticed a small lump in between my breast and my shoulder which I now know is called the axillary! Initially I could only feel it when lying down and my husband struggled to feel it at all. Within the next couple of weeks it appears to have grown quite a lot, it is very obvious to touch..... you can almost grab hold of it.... and it is moveable. The lump itself isn't painful but it is causing awful nerve like pain in my shoulder and down my left arm. This week I noticed my forearm has swollen a little and was spongy by to the touch. Also last weekend my husband had to cut off my wedding ring as that had also become so tight and sore. I hadn't put all of these things together until this week. I therefore made a GP appointment and got an appointment to see a nurse at the surgery. She took blood tests and has referred me for a scan on the lump, hopefully in the next two weeks. My blood results came back yesterday and they were clear apart from high cholsesterol ( another problem to worry about!). So my question is, does anyone have any experience of this? I am trying to stay upbeat but am secretly worried sick. Thanks so much if you've read this far!
