Hard lump between ribs been there 10 years..

Hi,

ive got a large lump between ribs, doesn't move and hasn't gotten bigger or smaller in 10 years isn't painful. I've had it checked by GP and at the breast clinic and both said it's just my rib but I'm convinced it isn't it feels like it's between two ribs, 

Should I be contacting my gp again,

I had my second baby 4 months ago and just don't want to be irresponsible and not get it checked.

im such a worrier and after losing a lot of family in the last 10 years (not to cancer) I'm just a very anxious person. 
sorry if I'm rambling just asking for some opinions

    I'm sorry to hear that you continue to have some concerns about a lump that you've previously had checked. It's unfortunate that you didn't feel reassured by your GP or the specialist and that it's still worrying you. 

    Do get in touch with your GP to explain that you are still feeling worried about the lump. I'd recommend letting your GP know about your anxiety as well as I'm sure that there are some local services that they may be able to direct you towards to help you manage this better. In the meantime you might like to look at this page on the NHS website about managing health anxiety.
