  • Hello Tevans

I found I had that when I started my chemo for Ovarian cancer.  At first becouse of hair loss when I came out the shower I was moisturing my scalp as I was told it would go dry, But I found this is what was causing it although I was using simple light moisturiser & even tried E45 as recommended.  I find now that it is best to only wash the scalp with simple shampoo twice a week other than that just let warm water rinse other head. (not hot as this wont help matters) pat your head dry don't rub.  Try not to use moisturiser unless you really need too & if you do need it use very sparingly.  Simple is the best I found E45 too heavy.  For my face I use simple moisturising facial wash, the smallest amount about a large pea size & lather in your hands first. Rinse with luke warm water

    Hope this has helped you

Good luck I hope all goes well
