Hi had my results today  I got dcis cancer they said it's at an early stage and has no spread .got to have a lumpectomy and radiotherapy .I'm just glad I know wha

t I'm dealing with now .

Hi Lorraine thank you for your kind words .consultant give me option of a mastectomy  and a lumpectomy .I did think just take it all away but he said a lumpectomy will have the same outcome as a mastectomy.i hope he is right cos I dont fancy having to have it done at a later date.  Hope you are well and keeping safe xx

Hi Lorraine I didn't feel a lump on breast .micro calufications showed up on mammogram .they said the tumour is in the ducts  and hasnt spread .My first thought was a mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy but consultant and breast nurse convinced me a lumpectomy was a better option . I hope I loose a little bit more than a pound lol xx
