hysterectomy

Hi

 

I have been told after having a colposcopy which revealed abnormal cells that I need a hysterectomy. After talking to people and looking on the internet, I am confused as to why I need such a radical operation, and why I cant receive other less invasive treatments, can anyone help?

    Because none of us here are involved in your care, the only thing really is to speak to your specialist about this. It's of course important that you're fully informed about suggested treatment, so do talk it through with them when you can.
