Radiotherapy

I was diagnosed with triple negative in February

Had the chemo treatment then op now I have to have radiotherapy, I've already put it off and I have to decide within the next two weeks

Throughout my treatment i never received any support from my medical team or my family and friends , I've cried every single day throughout my care. Now it's time to have radiotherapy and I feel I just want to stick two fingers up to everyone for not supporting me and just want the cancer to come back and take me.

I know it's sounds sad but it's just how I feel.

Cannot see GP but they have been crap through my treatment also, never been in touch once

  • Hello Hilly1.

It's so lovely to hear from you it really is.

I bet it was strange having your treatment, hope you are not in any pain from it though.

How many treatments do you need flower ️?.

    It's usually 2 to 3 weeks isn't it.

Unfortunately no the support from so called friends is just the same.

They have found another lump in my collarbone which turns out to be cancer,so they (oncologist) have recommended some more chemo because it's in my lymph nodes now.

    It's hard Hilly1 but...........,.

Thank you for your support though ️ ️ ️.

Have had some really very dark days were well ........

Don't really know you Hilly1 but I think you are a lovely caring person and I thank you for your support and keeping in touch on my dark days.x

  • Morning Laney_

i am not in any pain yet, today is No 3.
I am really sorry to hear that it's in your collarbone and lymph nodes, you are really going throug the mill, so are you going to have more chemo before the radiotherapy ?

we came over from Guernsey were we have only 2 cases of COVID and they are in isolation, in Guernsey we don't have to wear masks, life is back to normal, if we leave the island we just have to isolate for one or two weeks then we get tested and if it's negative we are free to go out.

So being in the uk for my treatment is all a bit of a shock wearing masks , hand sanitizing etc hey ho it's only for 3 weeks.

thank you for your lovely comments, I just know what it's like to be on your own, it's so lonely and going through what your going through is really tough, but I am always here, just sometimes with work etc I don't get to my I-pad quickly.
let me know how things are going, keep your chin up xxx ️

  • Evening Hilly1

Yes I bet it is a shock having to wear masks,I bet it feels really strange having to wear a mask when you enter the hospital over here.Glad your not experiencing any pain yet,I hope you don't too.

This virus is causing a lot of problems unfortunately in the uk.

Only 2 cases of covid-19 wow!!,

Where i live the oncologist says they recommend I don't go out while having chemo (again),I was fortunate to carry on with my treatment in March when some cancer patients had their treatment stopped, but it's strange going to the hospital and you just don't know who's got the virus.

Yes chemo starts this Friday 2/10 until the 23rd of December, in between having MRI and CT scans, then late January radiotherapy don't know how long for though .

Keep safe Hilly1 while over in the uk and take care.xxx
