:silly:
hi guys, the past few months have been crazy and I really just need some support. I have a history of endocrine problems and was diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroid in 2014 with auto-antibodies (TSH of 50 and T4 of 9) gradually on meds up to 200 mcg and now (TSH 15 and T4 of 14) still don’t feel well and never have, even when my TSH was 1 and T4 23).
I suffer from cold sensitivity, hair loss, eyebrow loss, weight gain, dry skin and extreme exhaustion even after 10 hours sleep. I have had a rough time with severe severe bleeding during my periods to the point of passing out. Haematology findings have indicated Microcytic haemochromic anaemia low haemoglobin 112 (normal is (120-155), very small size red blood cells, and my ferritin is nearly non existent at 3 and my inflammatory markers are very upper normal.
can anyone tell me what sort of further tests I might expect in haematology ? and their own experience with anaemia diagnosis and testing for blood cancers / bone marrow problems etc
