Hi all

ive had a hard bump right in the centre between my neck and jaw - I've had it for a good few years can't remember exactly but know I went to doctor years ago and mentioned to her at the end of an appointment , she had a quick feel and wasn't concerned . I'm not sure if it's got bigger lately or my health anxiety ( which to be honest is out of Control lately) but I really noticed it this week, I went to gp today who could feel it and has referred me for ultrasound - he said he wasn't overly concerned as had a blood count in July which was fine and haven't been feeling unwell but I'm absolutely terrified it's cancer - it's a hard lump and I can some other hard very small bumps near it .'

sorry if I sound like a basket case but just so fearful and can't stop catastrophisisng
