Caris Molecular intelligence - Stomach Cancer

Hi Everyone.

i have just been diagnosed with stomach cancer aged 28 just two weeks ago!! Very shocking diagnosis, i am very fit and health and a keen cyclist. I live in Yorkshire and the local hospital has graded it a stage 4 stomach cancer which has spread to my liver and lynph nodes. I have been told by my oncologist that chemo will maybe get me a year or so to live.

I cant accept the terminal diagnosis though im too much of fighter and im too stubborn to give in so i am going all the way looking into any trials or innovative treatments anywhere in the world. I am extremley lucky that my family have set up a go fund me page and i am able to afford to look into a few options privatley that i just wouldn't have been able to afford without the donation. I have been reccomended to have my biopsies analysed by Caris Molecular Intelligence to see exactly what treatment works on my specific cancer and the dna and rna behind it. Its very sciency stuff and im not fully sure how it all works but it sounds very positive. From what i've read it can identify if the exact chemo i am having is having an effect on my cancer directly and if all the drugs that are in my chemo are beneficial. This can help to reduce toxcity and illness from treatment whilst making sure i recieve the right treament. Not it's not cheap it costs £5000 so i wanted to ask on here before i went ahead if anyone has used this tumour profilling before and if it was of any benefit? I will go to any legnths to survive this and will try anything needed. Thanks for reading.
