I understand your fear, as we all get scared when we are waiting to get a diagnosis. I sincerely hope that your GP is right and that this is just due to trauma. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and brother to cancer and, this will naturally make you even more worried.

Of all the people referred to the breast clinic, 80% will get the all clear.

You will usually be seen at the clinic within 2weeks from the date of referral. Try to keep yourself busy meanwhile to distract yourself from the wait.
