Hi everyone, I'm Barb and I'm waiting to see a breast specialist due to having the symptoms of inflammatory breast cancer. I'm frustrated at my almost 5 week wait and terrified because it's actually happening on Thursday. I've imagined every scenario possible as I'm sure everyone in this position does. I only hope that if I do have IBC the lengthy wait hasn't advanced it to stage 4. It's a quite rare and aggressive cancer that is usually diagnosed at stage 3 b, 3c or 4.
