Neratinib

I finished Herceptin about 7 weeks ago and am now in day 4 of Neratinib.  So far so good.  I too have had a few aches and pains with Anastrozole, but seems to be improving at last. I'll update re side effects of Neratinib as I go.  I just figured it was worth giving it a go.

  • Hi I hope you have more success with nerlynx than I have so far.  Started on 6 with 6 loperamide a day after day 5 along came the diarrhoea, nausea and an acne like rash on my nose was advised to come off it and had a break of 10 days.  Back on taking 5 and 6 loperamide same again and mouth sores, oncologist thinks I maybe having an allergic reaction.  Next time round I will start on 4 this is the minimum recommended dose in the UK  let's hope I have more success.  Would be very interested to know how you are getting along with it they say the first couple of months are the hardest .

  • Hi.  Today is day 4. Like you I'm on 6 and 6.  It was actually slightly less nerve-racking having chemo as I expected to feel rough with that.  With this I'm not sure what to expect apart from what seems to be the inevitable diarrhoea.
