CT scan for abdominal mass

Hi I am awaiting CT scan results I had yesterday due to 2 large masses felt through tummy and bloated to the point of appearing 6 months pregnant...

My CA125 levels and other tumour markers were normal, Dr suspects fibroids or ovarian cysts...they feel huge to me as all my clothes are tight around my waist.  MDM meeting is taking place this Thursday and I have a letter not till 8th September to see gynaecologist.  If they find anything suspicious on Thursday will I be contacted before the appointment on letter?  If large cysts how long do you wait for them to be removed?  The waiting is awful, I'd love to hear from anyone who has been through anything similar please?

    Waiting for results is always tough but I hope this information I've found online will help you during this time.
