How big was your fibroadenoma. I read they stop growing at 3cms . Mine is 4cm and they want to remove it. does that mean it is a phyllodes tumor. I read up on them and now I'm worried my lump might not not ne a fibroadenoma after all.
Just come across this I have 6 fibroadenoma she didn't tell me measurements of all but I know one is 3cm and 1 is 4cm. She has scanned me loads of times and biospised them. Not at any point have they suggested they are anything other. If your not sure I'd ask your GP for referral again and ask the question directly to the consultant. xx
I spoke to the doctor about having it removed but will have to see him in three months . He laughed when I said I was worried. I feel worried the biopsy missed something and now scared of they find anything it will be to late
That's awful that you felt he was laughing. It's a genuine concern I think about mine all the time. I am having surgery now as the one on the right has grown rapidly since March and am awaiting an appointment with the surgeon. He is removing them all so I kind of waited for them to make the decision as I just don't know myself. If it is causing you anxiety and upset weight up if it's worth just having it out. Be worth doing some research first as can leave the breast looking different especially if it's larger. Good luck and I hope you get the answers that bring you some comfort with it all. xx
Thanks for the reply . I always think the worst . I had to have chest xray in Feb and I was convicted I had something wrong because I had been on google. And it turned out to be nothing.
