On going tummy issues

Hi all,

Just seeking/seeing if anyone has or knows anyone with similar symptoms. For about 2months now I've been having a pain in the upper right quadrant. Always seems worse after eating and when sitting or laying down feels like something is pressing against my lower rib and pain in centre of my chest right at the base of my ribs.  Have been to the GP with the following results

Blood tests  came back normal

Stool sample came back normal

Ultrasound came back as normal

All good signs, but still have symptoms of something going on

 

I don't have any real issues with toilet habits although have notice that stools seem softer than usual. Feel ok generally

 

Have another appointment with the GP next week

 

Anyone else had or know anyone that's had something similar?

    Hi matthewlavvy,

     

    Have you have your appointment yet? I wondered how you'd got on. 
     

    I've had upper right abdominal discomfort since May. I feel sick when I get up in the morning and nauseous through the day. I feel like the dull achy pain is becoming more frequent. I have the same sensation of feeling like my rib is prodding something at times. Docs can't feel anything when they prod me, and the area doesn't hurt upon them feeling about. 

    Bloods normal, CT normal. I have an ultrasound soon.
