I have noticed for a while that the shape on the right side of my face had changed, I put it down to putting on weight and getting older then the other day I put my head back to notice a large lump on the one side which I now know is the Parotid gland, I called the GP today who did a video link and she had said because it's painless and I have no apparent infection that she think it may be a tumour and is referring me straight away, obviously I've panicked as I really don't know how long it's been there and it's painless and soft.. I know I shouldn't google but I have and I'm now terrified as I have to wait around two weeks before I get to see a specialist..does anyone have a similar story? Symptoms? Just looking for someone to talk to
