Hi Zsazy,
Welcome to our forum. Make an appointment with your GP and get this checked out.
Here's hoping that nothing untoward is found.
Kind regards,

Hello.
I noticed this on my right breast 3 weeks ago. I have been urgently referred to the breast clinic which is next tuesday after seeing my GP the next day. Have you seen your GP? I'm hoping it's not serious but you cant help but worry. I will try keep you updated about my appointment and how it goes. I am 28 with a 1 and a half year old, but I only breastfed a short while 2/3 months.
All the best.
Amber
Hi Am,
Please don't panic about your 'urgent' referral. Most of us are referred urgently. This just ensures that we are all seen within a two-week time frame.
As someone who has had two bouts of breast cancer in the past 11 years, I know just how worrying this can be, but I hope that all goes well for you next Tuesday.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hello jolamine,
Thank you for the reassurance. I guess when you hear the words urgent you automatically assume the worst but I'm glad it's normal procedure. How are you doing at the moment? Im sorry you've experienced this horrible disease twice. Nervous about tomorrow but feeling lucky that we have a service where you can be seen soon and that concerns are taken seriously.
Will update on my appointment tomorrow.

Hi Amber,
Are you aware that you are unlikely to get any results tomorrow? Many expect to get a diagnosis at their first visit to the clinic, but this seldom happens. You are likely to have some tests and, will have to wait for 1-2 weeks to get the results of these tests. By the time you get these, your consultant will have discussed your results with his/her MDT team (Multidisciplinary team). They will have decided on the best way forward for you, if you happen to have a positive result.
We are indeed very fortunate to have the NHS there for us all and, in cases like this, they are excellent.
I am fine at the moment thanks.
I hope that all goes well for you tomorrow and, that nothing untoward is found.
Look forward to your update.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you meanwhile.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
