I’m younger than you just 19 I’ve been spotting between my periods too but I’m on the implant which can be seen as normal but I’m petrified. They’re really irregular but because I’m not having periods I’m not sure about it, my discharge is sometimes a pinky colour. I’m not sexually active and they tried to give me a smear last year but it hurt so much I had to stop. I rang the doctors and have a telephone appointment tomorrow. Googling is what I’m best at and that’s what I did, I’ve gotten myself all worked up and questioning everything. I hope everything comes back okay:)

sorry your going through this :( I know that some contraceptive can cause irregular bleeding and sometimes can stop your period all together a few years ago I was on the pill and didn't get a proper period but spotted every day so I stopped taking them and it all went back to normal but your supposed to give them 6 months to get your body used to them but I don't think it's normal for you to be in pain when having a smear from just the implant.. I cried when they tried to look at the neck of my womb similar to having a smear make sure you tell them everything on the phone tomorrow and let me know how you get on. Hope everything's ok!! X

Try not to google!! I do it all the time and it just makes you diagnose your self and then all you do is panic try not to do it till you have been seen by a dr xx

I know I'm terrible for it it makes you think somethings is instantly wrong! But yes it's a side effect :/. I hope everything is okay for you! Keep me updated :) xxx
