Hi. On my 1st breast clinic appointment they did an ultrasound and took biopsies of the lump. They might do a mammogram too.  Have you got a date for the appointment yet?

yes it's the 23rd so next Thursday 

My Doc seems to think where the lump is it is outside the breast tissue , also thinks it's smooth 

still a worrying time, just wanted to know what to expect as no information of what they will do was given on the letter I received 

It is worrying. I don't mind tests, its waiting that scares me more and results. My first lump turned out to be a fibroadema (begnign) and apparently most lumps are nothing to worry about. I also found that the staff at the clinic are really kind so you should get lots of support from them too. Let me know how you get on and good luck!

yes it is definitely the waiting, I was meant to be seen within 2 weeks but clinic kept saying they had no clinics so contacted my docs again and they got me an appointment thank goodness

Morning, so I was at the clinic on Thursday 

I had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy of lump and lymph node

consultant thinks it is cancer but will know more when I get results on Thursday
