For the last two months I've been suffering with rectal bleeding, mucus when passing wind, I've lost weight and I'm super tired. But no pain at all.

My blood test results have come back stating my level is 6 when it's supposed to be 15!

I've been prescribed iron tablets and have been referred to have a sigmoidoscopy.

I'm unbelievably scared that it's serious, I'm 38.

Can anyone give me some information or similar experiences.
