Yes I've been seen now, i has my colonoscopy within 10 days of my referral and they could see ulceration and inflammation.

biopsies have been taken and I was referred for further scans (MRI/CT). However, getting the results seen to be taking forever.

I was told I should have an appointment for a scan within a week and it's now nearly a Month later and I still don't have an appointment despite chasing. And biopsies are supposed to be back within 2 weeks, I still don't have these results. 
 

I just want things sorted now.

I've had similar symtoms for the past year, but also getting a temp and joint pains, my calprotectin is 1229, urgent referral to gastro, I'm so worried, my results say 'likely IBD'

Hi Becky did you ever get your results? I've exact same as you my Calprotein is 3077 my doc says not to worry she dosent think it's bowel cancer it's more likely ibd but the panic and worry dosent stop, 

I have bloody mucus loads recently and for 3 weeks it is becoming a bit more less the last couple of days but now I seem to feel like I need to go the toilet all the time and have a lot of pressure and some niggly stomach pains with constant left side back pain, I can't help but worry 

I'm on 2ww for camera but so scared

I am unfortunately still waiting on tests to be done, which if I had stayed with the nhs would be up to a 6 month wait. I have gone private and have an appointment with a gastroenterologist at the end of the month. My symptoms have carried on and it feels almost normal to constantly have to worry about blood and mucus. The gp said it's likely IBD because high calprotectin doesn't indicate cancer?!? Which I'm not sure is quite right?

Honestly I don't know my score, but I think tests are taking a while to come back so be prepared for that. The waiting is the hardest part. This is my second cancer scare of the year so I am a bit tired now! Trust the process and know that you are on track and making all the right moves x
