Cell changes in 12 months??

Hi everyone,

I had a smear 12 months ago, the results were HPV positive but no abnormal cells. My smear test results for the one I had 2 weeks ago have come back as HPV positive and moderate abnormal cells. Is this change quick? How can the cells change so much in just 12 months? Is it normal?

I can see you have a question about the change in your screening results so I'm just going to give you our cancer nurses telephone number as they're very knowledgeable in this area.
