Didn't think I'd be reading so many threads in relation to breast cancer in my life but here I am. I am awaiting my appointment at a one stop clinic which is in 10 days time or so. The reason behind the referral is that for 4 weeks or so I've had an ache in between my arm pit and breast which now feels like a bruise to touch. Around 4 months ago I thought I felt a small pea like pump in the armpit on the same side but now the whole area just feels swollen. The gp said she would refer as there is prominent breast tissue there and could see my discomfort. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or symptoms and what your outcome was (good or bad). I know everyone is completely different but I'm just after some possible scenarios I may also come up against. Thanks in advance
