Hi, so just got back from hospital to be told i have breast cancer. I'm 39 had to have a MRI scan to see if it's spread anywhere else. Apparently Grade 3 & needs Chemo. I'm in total shock & need a friend. Thankyou xx

Hello,
I can't share any experience as I am still waiting for my apt at the breast clinic. I know there's plenty of people here with lots of experience who will be able to give you advice.
As for a friend I'm always here for a chat or if you just want to vent.

Hi, just to let you know that I’m going through the same as you too, so I know exactly how you’re feeling. I’m also 39 & mum of 4. My breast cancer was 1st diagnosed on 12th may as stage 1 grade 1 Er+ Pr+ HER- looked like it was about 25mm and no lymph node involvement. Lumpectomy & node biopsy Surgery revealed sentinel node positive so I had an axillary clearance and tumour found to be 44mm and grade 3. Didn’t get clear margins and 4 out of 9 nodes taken have tested positive for cancer, it’s now Stage 3. Was back in for more surgery yesterday to take away more breast tissue, so just hoping it was successful because otherwise it’s a mastectomy next. Having a ct scan on Monday to check it hasn’t spread any further and then waiting to start chemotherapy and Tamoxifen. Radiotherapy will be after chemo now. I have good days and bad, but just trying to be as positive as I can be whilst living in this nightmare, going from one appointment to the next (alone, thanks Covid!) and waiting for results. Sending you a big hug and I’m here if you need to chat,
Becci x
