Armpit lump

Hi I have come across a lump in my armpit probably about the size of 5p I searched online whilst I'm trying to get seen by doctors and thought I'd post here. It's about the size of a 5p but its soft and hairless  not even a bit of stubble like nothing grows there

anyone had anything like this is this a good sign it a bad one.

Obviously trying to visit a doctor is hard right now so that's how I ended up here

    I'm sorry you're having a bit of a tough time getting seen at the doctors at the moment but do keep trying as they are the only ones who can tell you what this is and whether it's any cause for concern.

    Hi MMarym,

    Welcome to our forum.I am sorry to hear about the small lump that you've discovered. You can ask for an urgent appointment with your GP, if you tell the receptionist why you need it. This may mean a telephone consultation at first, but if s/he feels that there is any need for further investigation you will either then have a face-to-face appointment or you will be referred for further investigation.
