I am a carer for my wife who has a urostomy and a colostomy which unfortunately due to radiotherapy has partially ruined her lower bowel and has a transverse colostomy also gets severely constipated we have clean brand enemas but the side effects ie sickness and abdominal pain are horrendous suppositories work to a certain extent but she always has pain on left hand side near ribs anyone have any advice or tips our local hospital are a bit negative
