I can understand why you want to stay private, but you would be better returning to your GP again, when you are aware that this has grown since last year. Have you mentioned this to your mum? This might be the best place to start. I am sure that she will go along with you to see your GP, if she thinks that this is necessary.

If it does turn out to be something nasty, the sooner it is seen the better, as treatments are so much more effective if treatment starts in the early stages. I know that it can be difficult to see your GP at present, but they are still seeing people.
