Small pea sized lump on upper labia lip

The moment you find a lump your mind instantly thinks the worst, ladies I really need some reassurance during these times as its incredibly hard to get a doctors appointment with the covid-19 still around, I've lost so much sleep and Im tearing up as I'm typing this, I've had this lump for a month now, it was like a hard lump but now it's turned soft and can itch a lot, I'm terrified it could be cancer, I've had a bartholins cyst so I know it's not that, I've never had a lump this long before, sometimes it's painful too, I just don't know what to do

  • I also have a lump on my labia. Dr told me mine was a bartholins cyst and to just watch for any changes in size and texture. Mine also has been there for over a year now. I got told it was a cyst in September.

  • Hi Courney, I totally understand the worry and fear that we get with finding new lumps. And it's so frustrating not being able to get to see a doctor in person.  I'm in a similar position of feeling worried sick due to raised lymph nodes, itchy all over and night sweats. The mind takes me to all sorts of terrifying scenarios!

From what I've read, lymphoma lumps are normally painless and rubbery to touch. Do you have any other symptoms? Can you get your bloods checked through the doctors? Apparently that's the first port of call or ask for a referral to haematology.

I hope you can get seen soon x
