Diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal breast cancer

Hi my name is Dominique my friend and family call me Dom or Dommy I found a lump  in my breast I'm February   and was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal cancer  it turned out that I had two tumors  I had a mastectomy last month  and just waiting  for the results of oncotype DX xx

    Welcome to our forum Dom! 

    You have come to the right place to meet others who have had a similar diagnosis and I hope that other ladies who have been diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal breast cancer will be along shortly to share their story with you. 

    I hope that you have recovered well from the mastectomy and I am keeping everything crossed for you as you are waiting for your oncotype results.

    Hi Dom, how are you feeling? 

    I’ve just been diagnosed with stage 1 Ductal Cancer yesterday. I have 2 lumps but they only biopsied 1 of them so I have to go on Tuesday to have the other done. Originally they were sure that they were Fibroadenomas so it was a bit of a shock. They have said if the other lump is the same it will be a full mastectomy but if it’s just the 1 a lumpectomy and depending maybe treatment 1st and then surgery. 

    I was hoping to meet some people who I can talk to that are in a similar situation as feel a little lost with it all at the moment.
