Light brown line in nail

Hi,

I have a light brown line vertically down my nail and I've had it since I was a child and I don't know what it is. I found out the it may be a cancer but I just wanted to know. Should I call my GP or not because of the pandemic I don't really want to go there. What should do? Should I be worried?

You may wish to speak to one of our nurses beforehand - although please note they are unable to diagnose.
