Overactive thyroid and stiff neck

Hi everyone,

I am taking Carbimazole for overactive thyroid, Ben on them for almost a year now, my levels are ok (according to endocrinologist a couple of weeks ago) but since February I've had a stiff neck and sharp pains under my chin/under my jaw and going up to my ear. My left side. It feels like the left side of my neck is swollen, maybe a lump, I'm not sure.

Sometimes the pain is on my collarbone and under my arm too, both left hand side.

I have trouble swallowing food so it seems like my thyroid is swollen.

I went to the doctor about this just before lockdown started and he's referred me for an ultrasound, obviously heard nothing yet due to COVID-19 but I have called my endocrinologists' secretary and left a message as I don't just want to sit back with these symptoms.

Does anyone have any similar pains or can offer some advice please?

Thanks for reading
