hi everyone my name is jim I wonder if any one can help explain things to me .went to get camera down my penis as passed a wee bit blood they said my prostate had some red blood cells on it my bladder was ok ,but sent me for a ct scan which had then to get my results in 10 days when phoned the docs they didn't have .then out of the blue gets a letter from the Haematolology saying they wanted to see me and bring someone with you but with the lockdown and stay by myself had to go on my own . there the doctor said to me my lynodes sorry about spelling were large and I had cancer and did I have any to say was gobspacked then took blood which all came back normal then said I had to have biopsie of my bone marrow which had 2weeks ago phoned docs today to get results but they didn't have had a ct scan of chest/abdo/pelivis yesterday got to see consultant at haematology Tuesday in the mean time my penis has been sore and glands above penis swollen sumtimes and peeing a lot since had camera and 1st ct scan had 2 courses of anibotics which havnt worked now worried as don't seem to getting better feel like got flu phoned consultant 3 times and not returned my call I feel since this started I have been out the loop and before this started my health was ok now wising I didn't go to docs can anyone help with some advice please

    I can't advise but can sympathise with your situation. I have been having numerous scans blood test xrays- and this week a needle biopsy - since  early March. Also live alone and habe gone alone for all.

    Waiting for results is the worst possible thing at moment and I am still waiting! I know  originally GP suspected Cell Sarcoma so assume that's what it is.

    At least we are getting tested. I wish you luck and hope it's a good outcome. Try and distract yourself and focus on a future plan/s in the meantime x

    hello mermaid thanks for that yes its much harder when you have to go hospital yourself and nobody with you to ask the questions and when you chat with your so called freinds they seem to say why you didn"t say this and that to docs .but noone whats to come with you .mind you when i think of it been runing after and doing thing for family and freinds all my life we shouldn"t have to ask for help from them thats what you do thats the way i have been brought up to help everybody .its been the worse 8weeks of my life and having a lock down too iam from edinburgh the snp end it next week .i hope you get sum good news an will b hoping alls well from you darling x:happy:
