Hello all. I'm a 33 year old mum of 3 who has recently discovered an enlarged tonsil on the right side. 
 

I have neck pain and ear ache also with intermittent tingly and numbness in my right cheek area.

i discovered the enlargement a few weeks ago when I felt like something was stuck in my throat. The dangly bit (sorry unsure the medical terminology!) is also enlarged and sits on my tongue. 
 

I am a smoker and I am absolutely terrified mainly due to me researching things on google (which I know I shouldn't)

I called my GP surgery today and was told they had no appointments left and that I would need to call tomorrow. 
 

Im very anxious and don't have any friends to talk to so I'm looking for some support through this terrifying experience.
