Large lump in my daughters breast

Hi, 

My Daughter is 18 and she has found a large lump in her breast. The lump is under her nipple area and feels quite hard. Her nipple to me looks a little strange too. I have googled things and we are obviously very panicked and with it been a weekend can't speak to a doctor. 

Could anyone offer any advice around this please?

    She would be very young to get Breast Cancer at only 18.

    In her age group it's much more likely to be a fibroadenoma, a firm lump that can grow quite large but not serious.

    I'm.a practice nurse n see a few girls with similar who have had to have them removed. 

    Definitely get it checked however but I'm sure it will all be ok xx

    Thank you so for replying. I read about fibroadenoma and I was hoping that's all it was, just couldn't help worrying until we can see doctor. I am hoping they will see her tomorrow. 
     

    Do they always get removed?
