I am sorry to hear about this but it's good that your GP is sending you for breast screening.
The fact that GP is sending you for breast screening is probably just a precaution.
When I had a lump in my mouth my GP sent me to an oral surgeon for a biopsy which came back with no cancer, I hope that this allays some of your anxiety, please keep us informed.
