I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  I was diagnosed last year stage 4 alkpositive LC. 42 non smoker and marathon runner. It was a hell of a shock. 

There is a great Facebook group Alkpositivelcuk which I recommend you join. 

There are also inhibitors that alkpositive patients can take which can control the cancer.

Thanks for your lovely message. I feel very guilty for inflicting this on my family. I keep thinking perhaps I was too fat, ate the wrong things etc but then it's probably just bad luck! I am glad I have access to other medicine. Take care
