I am sorry to hear about this new lump that you have found. Doctors are still seeing patients where necessary and in other cases they are triaging patients over the phone. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 10 years and found my lumps in the same way as you did.

I would certainly advise you to phone your receptionist tomorrow and ask to speak to your GP. You may need to tell her why you need an urgent appointment, but I'm sure that she will get you fitted in. Hopefully, this is nothing untoward, but you are better to make certain.

Thank you so much for your response.

I wasn't sure what to do - you always hear that things like this start with lumps in / under the breast but mine is actually slightly under and sitting on the bra line - kind of on the crease underneath my left breast. 

I will try and ring the doctors today and see what they say. Thank you x

I am glad to hear that you were going to try and ring your GP today. It is just not worth leaving these things to chance and, you are always better to get any lump checked out.
