Tamoxifen as a preventative due to family history

Hi, has anyone been taking tamoxifen as a prevention due to family history? I'm new to all this so please bear with me lol.

ive been advised to take 20mg daily for the next 5 years but I'm worndering if anyone out there has been in the same situation and your advice would be much appreciated
