Tring to find out whats normal and what is not normal with BCG installations.

Briefly I havehad 6 TURBT`s followed by  6 BCG installlations and 3 maintenance installations.

A biopsy after the first 6 was clear but showed inflammation to the bladder.

I had the third maintenance installation approx 6 weeks ago, the first two were not too bad but, I could not hold the third one in for any length of time and had to release some of it before I had left the hospital. I travelled home and for the next 22 hours wandered around like a lost soul the pain in the tip of my whatsit was so intense. Anyway that settled down after a couple of days. My problem now is that I am continually needing to pee 2,3 or even 4 times an hour and this still stings.

Initially I thought I may have got an infection and my GP prescribed me a course of antibiotics these did nothing so , I contacted my GP and he prescribed me a second course of a different antibiotic these also  did nothing.

Contacted urology not  much help at this time suggested over the counter medicine.

GP prescribed one 3g dose of some crystals in a sachet . Have taken that and also Cystopurin sachets over the counter. No change so far .

I am getting tired now the longest continuous period of sleep I have had between urinating is one hour

Usually its around 20 to 30 mins between visits to the loo.

This probably looks trivial compared to some of the posts on here and I apologise for that.
